Fifty Corvette cars paraded down Abu Dhabi Corniche as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The procession was part of the ‘Let Hope Shine’ initiative at Marina Mall Abu Dhabi.

The event saw the Corvettes begin their journey from the Cancer Organisation Booth at 3pm on Friday. Accompanied by Abu Dhabi Police, the cars made their way to Marina Mall Abu Dhabi, where they parked at the main entrance in a fan formation.

A booth was placed by the mall’s main entrance in which brand ambassadors educated mall visitors on breast cancer and distributed informative pamphlets, pink ribbons and flags.

Bruce von Kaufmann, General Manager at Marina Mall, said: “At Marina Mall Abu Dhabi we believe our business growth has to be socially responsible. We work closely with the local community through our CSR program ‘Let Hope Shine’, which gives us the opportunity to truly make a difference in the community.

“Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women and with 50 Corvettes driving along Abu Dhabi, we hope to raise awareness about this disease and encourage women to get regular check-ups.”
