Join natural fragrance expert Melanie Jane Nightingale at Habtoor Palace, Habtoor City from June 14-16 for her three-day, CDP accredited perfume course designed to demystify the techniques and talents behind fragrance selection, creation, and production.

Explore in detail a collection of over 100 oils spanning a full range of olfactory responses and go from beginner to creator in just three modules. The workshop will give you exclusive access to some of the world’s most expensive and rare ingredients such as orris root and ambergris.

Unpack the science behind scent, delve deep into the world of fragrance production and branding, and learn which scents can complement each other to create your ultimate signature fragrance.

“This three-day masterclass offers comprehensive content for anyone interested in the fragrance industry, from enthusiasts to entrepreneurs, therapists to teachers. We will begin with the very basics, including perfume evolution, to training your nose, identifying fragrance families and building accords and push through with essential knowledge such as packaging, labeling, branding and pricing to create an end-to-end industry foundation course for attendees,” says Melanie Jane who is celebrating 20 years as a Holistic Therapist and a Beauty Specialist.

Participants will study under the tutelage of Melanie Jane, drawing from her years of experience in the fragrance industry and will have exclusive access to Melanie’s bouquet of insider tips and industry insights.

She will demonstrate how to build accords for various perfumes including aromatherapeutic scents and fragrances for skincare. The course is hands-on, and participants will create their own blends to take away along with the foundational experience needed to start creating their perfume line.

Melanie Jane is an associate of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and has been a qualified holistic therapist since 1998. More recently, she studied at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery.

In addition to a CPD completion certificate, workbooks and formula guides, and all materials used during the workshops, the course will include all-day refreshments and a 3-course lunch in BQ French restaurant at Habtoor Palace, one of Dubai’s most luxurious hotels.

There are only ten spaces for participants in this in-depth, three-day workshop, which will run from 9.30am until 6.00pm each day.
